Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional dichotomy between clarity and chaos inherent in the 'signal vs noise' theme. The chosen palette features deep blacks and bright accents of green and magenta, highlighting the tension between the static gray noise and the vibrant signal. The main collision is between the structured green path and the random interruptions of hot magenta, creating a dynamic visual rhythm that reflects the push and pull of memory and interference. The layout consists of stacked bands, hinting at a progression from clarity to chaos and back, while purposely leaving negative space to embody moments of silence amidst the noise.
