Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tension between chaos (panic) and order (control) through its stark contrast in color and pattern. The chosen palette of deep navy and dim cyan introduces a sense of loneliness and introspection, while the fragmented placements of lighter tones evoke moments of interruption—sparks of control amidst a sea of instability. The layout reflects a vertical split, where left and right sides represent opposing emotions, creating a rhythmic oscillation and a visual echo. The placement of broken pixels introduces a level of imperfection, enhancing the theme of inner conflict.
