Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional conflict of desire and emptiness through color saturation and layout. The central area bursts with vibrant hues representing yearning, while the muted edges signify restraint. The palette of hot coral and blood orange heightens the sensation of unfulfilled longing, contrasting against deeper shades of charcoal and hollow blue that suggest hollowness and inhibition. The pixel arrangement spirals inward, creating a dynamic tension that reflects ongoing struggle. The intentional placement of broken pixels introduces imperfection, symbolizing the fractures in our desires.
