Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tension between quiet and pressure through a contrasting palette of dark navy and soft peach. The dark navy serves to create a weighted presence on the edges, symbolizing pressure, while the faint peach occupies the center, invoking a sense of spacious tranquility. The collision occurs diagonally, where the deeper shades punctuate the softness, resulting in an interplay between dense compression and airy calmness.
