Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures a struggle between longing and resolve, using a palette that contrasts warm tones of desire (hot coral, blood orange) against a foundation of cool, muted hues (charcoal, hollow blue). The collision occurs centrally with dense clusters of warmer colors, which create pressure, set against a quiet channel of negative space that invokes serenity and urgency. This pattern reflects the struggle and repair suggested by the seed; the veil of resolve overlays the ladder of longing, symbolizing the push and pull of emotion while broken pixels provide intentional disruptions, illustrating the fractures and repairs inherent in both experiences.
