Artist Statement
This artwork translates the emotional tension between trust and suspicion into an abstract composition. The selection of colors balances warmth and coolness, allowing 'signal green' and 'electric blue' to represent trust, while 'dead black' and 'static gray' evoke suspicion. This interplay creates a dynamic tension in which trusted sections (green and blue) clash with the shadows of suspicion (black and gray). The layout features an 'open gate' style, inviting the viewer into the chaos of a 'center pulse' where the main contrast occurs. Broken pixels lend an imperfect texture, symbolizing flaws in perception. Overall, the patterns of 'mirror' for trust and 'ladder' for suspicion create a rhythmic flow that captures the complexity of the emotions in the seed.
