Artist Statement
This composition captures the tension between joy and grief through a split layout. The left side, representing joy, is filled with vibrant yellows and oranges, using a 'dot' pattern to suggest buoyancy and lightness, while the right side embodies grief with muted purples and deep blues, reflecting heaviness through a 'split screen' effect. The central pixels serve as an arrow breaking through the symmetry, signifying conflict.
