Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of rage versus calm. The palette features heavy blacks and aggressive reds juxtaposed against soft pale blues and whites, portraying the collision of intense emotions. The top half utilizes darker colors to evoke compression and a sense of disturbance, while the lower half introduces soft blues, suggesting calmness and a reflective nature. The crossed patterns in the upper section create visual tension, while the gentle cracks in the lower section symbolize the fragility of calm amidst chaos. This arrangement embodies the struggle and balance between manic energy and serene moments.
