Artist Statement
The emotional tone hinges on the dichotomy of vulnerability and strength. A soft inner core of pale yellow represents exposure, surrounded by deep blue, which signifies protection. The inclusion of black and stone adds weight and density, contrasting with the vulnerability theme. The use of the 'ring' and 'spark' patterns creates a dynamic interplay between the floating light of vulnerability and the solid foundations of strength. The broken pixels disrupt and fracture the otherwise stable structure, enhancing feelings of uncertainty. The collision of color and form takes place toward the center, juxtaposing light and dark hues, embodying the tension of safety against exposure.
