Artist Statement
The emotional tone speaks to the push and pull of desire and restraint, represented by a vibrant palette of hot coral and blood orange against subdued charcoal and hollow blue. The main collision happens in the center, where the maze-like pattern of desire interacts with the tide-like restraint. This arrangement creates visual tension that captures the essence of the seed without literal representation.
