Artist Statement
The emotional tone encapsulates the tension between confusion and clarity, using a juxtaposition of muted sepia hues and soft blues to suggest a sense of pressure and sudden release. The pattern reflects a broken grid with overlapping colors that creates an imbalance, evoking the feelings of collisions in emotion. The top half presents a sense of calm with subtle hints of chaos in the bottom, representing a flow from a quiet center outward, interrupted by darker tones which symbolize pressure points. The broken pixels add a sense of imperfection, enhancing the overall conceptual narrative.
