Artist Statement
The emotional tone of the piece reflects the struggle between chaos (represented by vibrant colors) and control (represented by dark tones). The palette uses electric blue and lime as sparks of panic, while black serves as the heavy mass of control. The asymmetrical pattern creates an energetic zigzag flow, with brighter tones colliding against the darker, more ordered segments, allowing the viewer to feel the push and pull between anxiety and stability. Areas of negative space give a breath of calm amidst the tension, amplifying the feeling of unresolved conflict.
