Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional tide between longing and resolve. A balance is achieved with a palette of stark black and soft pale blue, reflecting the tension between each emotion. The central collision occurs around the middle-right area, where ordered black lines intersperse with chaotic blues, creating a sense of dynamic pressure. The spiral layout enhances the push and pull, with the negative spaces allowing for breathing room, emphasizing the feelings of intimacy and distance present in the original seed text.
