Artist Statement

This composition reflects the struggle between defiance and submission. The selected palette of pale aqua, mist gray, alarm red, ink blue, and clear white conveys serenity against urgency, offering a visual representation of emotional tension. The main collision occurs in the center, where stark color contrasts—such as the vibrant alarm red against the cooler mist gray—interrupt the flow of line and shape. This creates a sharp focal point, resembling a crack in surface tension, as seen in the chosen patterns of 'veil' and 'crack'. The placement of broken pixels adds intentional disruptions, symbolizing the unpredictability in emotional states. Overall, this 8x8 grid encapsulates both the structured order and the chaotic nature of human feelings in the context of the seed phrases.
