Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional contrasts of loneliness and connection, utilizing a palette of navy, black, single white, and dim cyan to evoke a sense of solitude contrasted with fleeting moments of connection. The dominant black and navy colors represent the weight of loneliness, creating a dense, heavy atmosphere, while interspersed white and cyan offer bursts of relief and light, symbolizing connection and hope.
