Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between certainty and curiosity by employing a structured approach on the outer layers and a disordered core. The outer border, painted with dark maroon and gray, represents certainty and order, creating a solid frame, while the inner, featuring pink and red hues, embodies curiosity with dynamic constellations that break through the structured edges. The color palette was chosen to evoke emotions of love and betrayal, reflecting the internal struggle between a yearning for order and the impulse to explore. The main collision occurs in the center, where the vibrant colors of curiosity interrupt the orderly frame, symbolizing how curiosity disrupts certainty.
