Artist Statement
The emotional tone oscillates between restlessness and peace, represented by contrasting colors and patterns. I selected a palette of soft gold and pale green to symbolize hope and tranquility, contrasted by dark violet and deep black for the weight of tension and unrest. The main collision occurs at the edges, where jagged interruptions suggest movement and uncertainty, while the center remains a calm void, providing a space of retreat. This arrangement embodies the struggle between the calm of peace and the disruption of restlessness.
