Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional contrast between pressure and release. The chosen palette of black, red, pale blue, and white reflects a balance between intense emotion (red) and moments of calm (pale blue and white). The main collision occurs at the center, where dark tones clash with brighter accents, suggesting an emotional struggle. The layout showcases an argument grid, allowing patterns of broken dots (loneliness) to coexist with mirroring sections (connection), visually narrating the interaction of isolation and unity. The use of negative space emphasizes the weight of both emotional states, enhancing their impact.
