Artist Statement
This composition uses a warm palette of powder pink and warm white to express softness while contrasting it with the severity of carbon black and sharp crimson. The interaction between the softness of stripes and the harshness of flame patterns creates a dissonance that echoes the emotional push and pull of guilt and forgiveness. The central collision of dark colors against lighter fields suggests a chaotic spiral leading to resolution, embodying a struggle between heaviness and lightness, ultimately represented by asymmetry and broken pixels that hint at imperfection and repair.
