Artist Statement
The emotional tone derived from the seed weaves together feelings of turmoil and serenity. The palette of red (rage), pale blue (calm), white (potential), and black (depth) facilitates a stark contrast embodied by divided yet overlapping sections. The red, implementing a flame pattern, aggressively occupies the lower half, while the pale blue and white exhibit calmness above, creating a visual tension where the two emotions clash and intermingle. The dominant collision takes place at the center where sharp red elements flare out, embodying the exhilarating chaos of rage, while the cooler shades attempt to contain, symbolizing calm. This arrangement reveals the structured chaos of emotion, inviting contemplation of the unpredictable nature of human feelings.
