Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a struggle between clarity and confusion, portrayed through contrasting colors and patterns. I chose a muted palette to symbolize a 'broken memory' with sepia and faded blue reflecting nostalgia and fragmentation. The central cluster of darker tones collide with lighter edges, creating tension and disruption. The use of cracks symbolizes confusion encroaching on clarity, reflecting the seed's themes of division and emotional flux.
