Artist Statement
This piece embodies the duality between confusion and clarity through a juxtaposition of dense and sparse color arrangements. The selected palette of pink and red, paired with shades of gray and dark maroon, conveys the emotional tension of love and betrayal, aligned with the theme of fragmented symmetry. The left half employs a maze-like pattern for clarity, using lighter shades to represent openness, while the right employs a target-like distribution of darker hues, drawing the eye into a state of confusion. The absence of outlines creates a sense of unpredictability, emphasizing the emotional volatility suggested in the seed. The result is a visual story of contrast and unresolved tension, creating a dynamic dialogue between the two moods.
