Artist Statement
This composition draws from the emotional dichotomy of fear and hope, utilizing a palette of dark violet and soft gold to highlight tension and illumination. The left side embodies fear's jagged edges in darker hues, creating a sense of pressure and confinement, while the right side radiates hope through lighter, uplifting colors. The zigzag patterns evoke a rising signal amidst the contrasting feelings, allowing the central conflict to emerge organically. Broken pixels peppered throughout create an imperfection, suggesting the fragility of hope against the weight of fear.
