Artist Statement
This artwork expresses the tension between quiet and pressure through a tightly clustered palette with an emphasis on contrasting zones. The dark navy serves as a weighted backdrop, representing pressure, while softer shades of off-white and faint peach flow outward, embodying the quiet. The pattern is interrupted by clusters of compressed red which provide sharp accents, creating vivid collisions in the composition. Techniques of channels for pressure and fault lines for quiet converge to capture the chaotic yet structured emotional narrative of the seed.
