Artist Statement
This artwork encapsulates the emotional tension between fear and hope. The palette, comprised of dark violet to represent fear and soft gold for hope, creates a stark contrast. The left side of the artwork is dense and dark, illustrating pressure and lack of space, while the right side bursts with light and freedom, suggesting an upward flow. The central split serves as a boundary between these emotions, creating a feeling of collision and interruption, embodied by the jagged edges against soft curves.
