Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a battle between fear and hope, established through a palette of dark and light colors contrasting against each other. The colors chosen—deep blacks, dark violets, soft golds, and pale greens—evoke a sense of pressure and vulnerability (fear), tempered with hints of brightness and growth (hope). The arrangement follows a 'falling pixels' layout where darker colors cascade down, while lighter tones fight to break through, creating bursts of illumination. The collision between dark and light produces visual tension, where the edges seem jagged against the soft gradients of pale colors, embodying the struggle between despair and optimism.
