Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the fragility of vulnerability with the robustness of strength. The palette of mourning black, deep blue, new leaf, pale yellow, and stone embodies a spectrum from tension to hope. The outer border, a dense deep blue, conveys strength, while the pale yellow center demonstrates vulnerability and light exposure. Broken pixels interrupt the flow, emphasizing moments of fleeting connection amidst the contrasts of shelter versus exposure, creating a pulsating sense of emotional conflict.
