Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the struggle between tenderness and rage, embodied in a stark contrast of colors where red symbolizes intense pressure while softer hues of pale blue and black represent muted warmth and calm. The left side shows tighter, more structured patterns indicative of rage (a halo pattern), while the right side releases into more open, softer grids representing tenderness. The broken pixels disrupt the continuity, echoing the theme of guilt and forgiveness, adding texture to the emotional drive. The main collision occurs down the center where the contrasting emotional states meet, allowing the viewer to feel the tension and release.
