Artist Statement
This piece embraces the emotional contrast between strength and vulnerability. The warm tones of burnt orange and gold evoke strength, while the dark red and charcoal introduce a sense of vulnerability. The composition features a quiet central field (representing safety and strength) surrounded by a jagged transition of darker colors (mirroring exposure and brokenness).
