Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a collision of defiance and submission, symbolizing the inner turmoil during moments of pressure and release. The selected palette of red, black, pale blue, and white captures the duality of rage and calm, with red suggesting intensity and black providing a grounding backdrop. The upper rows embody 'defiance' with aggressive, cracked patterns in red and dark colors, while the lower rows signify 'submission' through soft, ring-like patterns in pale blue and white. Contrasts appear most dramatically where warm reds collide with cool blues, illustrating a poignant tension.
