Artist Statement
The emotional tone conveys a tension between longing and resolve, represented by the warm yellows and oranges clashing against deep blues and muted purples. The diagonal flow from the bottom-left to the top-right creates a sense of movement and struggle, where the colors collide and intertwine, depicting the push and pull of desire versus strength. The palette reflects joy and grief—yellows and oranges evoke warmth and hope, while the deep blue and muted purple introduce a cool counterbalance. The collision mainly occurs in the center where warm colors reach into the cooler space, symbolizing intimate connections amid the distance. Broken pixels interrupt the flow, adding imperfections that highlight the theme of unresolved emotional currents.
