Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects the struggle between saturated desire and muted restraint. The selected palette mixes vibrant hues like hot coral and blood orange to embody desire, contrasted with cooler, muted tones like hollow blue and charcoal that signify restraint. This balance creates a profound tension where hot colors occasionally overflow against the cooler palette, representing the emotional push and pull captured in the seed. The main collision occurs in the center, embodying the concept of pulsating energy, where desire seeks to expand while restraint attempts to contain, leading to an interesting dynamic of space and crowding in the overall interaction of colors.
