Artist Statement
The emotional tone conveys a struggle between loneliness and connection, expressed through a palette inspired by ancient fire: burnt orange and dark red for warmth contrasting with charcoal and gold to represent hollowness and shattered memories. The predominant left weight suggests a pull towards connection while the right carries empty spaces. The broken pixels intentionally disrupt the pattern, representing fragmented memories, while clusters of warm colors form echoes of connection amidst areas of negative space, creating a dynamic tension throughout the piece.
