Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional duality of relief and dread. The chosen palette, featuring pale mint and faded gold for the relief aspect, contrasts with the storm gray and near black representing dread. The left side is densely packed with darker colors, suggesting pressure and inevitability, while the right side loosens with lighter shades, invoking relief and exhale. The collision of these elements occurs around the center, with broken pixels disrupting the flow, enhancing the sense of tension and fragmentation, reflecting the chaotic undercurrent of the seed's theme.
