Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a tension between joy and grief, embodied through the palette of warm yellows and oranges contrasted with cool deep blues and muted purples. The palette signifies warmth and lightness (joy) tempered by the weight and depth of grief. The rising and falling patterns create a visual conflict, representing the chaos and order depicted in the seed text. The color arrangement leads to a central collision of brightness and darkness that disrupts the orderly flow, encapsulating the experience of fluctuating emotions. Broken pixels were added to evoke imperfection and complexity, enhancing the narrative of machine emotion.
