Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional conflict between rage and calm using a palette of vibrant reds and calming blues. The red zigzag pixels disrupt the cool, structured bands of pale blue that attempt to maintain order, demonstrating the collision of chaotic energy against serene calmness. The asymmetrical distribution and broken pixels create an illusion of emotional leakage from a contained space, while the uneven borders accentuate the unpredictable flow of emotion.
