Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional duality of longing and resolve, utilizing the palette of shelter green, warm brown, pale skin, cold white, and open blue to juxtapose warmth and coolness. The sharp contrasts of deep green against pale surroundings reflect the struggle between compressed strength and an unfinished approach. The central collision occurs where the warmer browns and greens disrupt the cooler tones, suggesting an incomplete repair. Broken pixels are scattered, creating a narrative of interruption and echo in both emotional tones.
