Artist Statement
This artwork captures the tension between joy and grief, utilizing a palette of muted purple to symbolize grief and vibrant yellow and orange to represent joy. The contrast emerges sharply at the horizontal split, with dense clusters of warm colors symbolizing joy at the upper half and scattered, cooler tones symbolizing grief below.
