Artist Statement
This composition evokes the emotional duality of longing and resolve through contrasting density and quietness. The palette of lime, electric blue, black, and magenta creates a dynamic balance between vibrant chaos (resolve) and the softness of longing through the use of quiet fields of black. The main collision of color occurs at the center, symbolizing a pivotal interaction between the two emotional states, allowing for feelings of tension and release while also providing space for introspection and warmth.
