Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a dynamic interplay between longing and resolve, where longing is expressed through muted tones and broken pixels creating a sense of yearning, while resolve manifests as deliberate, structured placements of brighter hues forming a strong foundation. The palette, inspired by ancient fire, embodies warmth and intensity, with burnt orange and dark red representing the depth of emotion against the neutral charcoal and gold providing highlights. The main collision occurs diagonally, where colors of longing intermingle and overlap with the firm structure of resolve, suggesting an internal battle between aspiration and commitment.
