Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a collision between love (represented by warmth of pink and red) and betrayal (symbolized through cooler grays and dark maroon). The palette was chosen to illustrate the tension between these opposing emotions. The left half of the grid resonates with softer hues while the right introduces darker tones, embodying the pattern of pressure and release. The zigzag flow alternates calm and chaotic placements where central shapes echo affection yet are interrupted by cooler contrasts. This design captures the dual narrative of love and betrayal without the need for literal representation.
