Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional tones of awe and terror through a split composition that contrasts structured patterns with chaotic elements. The left side features a calm ring pattern in pink and gray, symbolizing awe and stability, while the right side presents broken dots in red and dark maroon, representing chaos and terror. The palette was chosen to evoke feelings of passion and fear, and the placement of broken pixels introduces instability amidst the structured flow, creating an emotional tension.
