Artist Statement
This composition embodies the conflict between restlessness and peace using a palette that juxtaposes warm and cool tones. The broken pixels symbolize interruptions in the motion and memory, while the layout promotes a spiral pressure that draws the eye toward a collision point. Light hues are placed against darker segments to evoke a sense of unresolved tension and the calm that lies beneath it.
