Artist Statement
This artwork explores the tension between fear and hope through a contrasting palette of dark violet and soft gold set against blacks and pale greens. The central area is intentionally empty to evoke a sense of fear, while bursts of soft gold represent hope, diffusing outward. The layout mimics a mirrored asymmetry to reinforce the emotional duel. Jagged edges suggest unease while crossing patterns of dark and light create an echoing effect, symbolizing struggle amid aspiration.
