Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a juxtaposition between fear and hope, visualized through the contrasting palettes of deep dark violets and vibrant soft golds. The left side embodies fear with darker, cracked textures signifying pressure and instability, while the right side radiates hope with flame-like patterns that convey upward motion and energy. The chaotic zigzag flow transitions the viewer's eye across the canvas, creating a tension that reflects the opposing emotions. Broken pixels introduce unpredictability, while ample negative space on the fear side enhances the feeling of emptiness against the hopeful vibrance.
