Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional dichotomy between restlessness and peace. The darker, muted tones signifying restlessness are juxtaposed with lighter patches representing moments of peace. The palette, consisting of red oxide, blackened plum, muted cream, iron gray, and small orange, reflects elements of tension and warmth against colder, more muted backgrounds. The main contrast occurs in the center where warmer tones collide with cooler ones, creating a visual echo that embodies both healing and disruption.
