Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes love and betrayal, reflected in the palette of soft pinks and deep dark maroons. The warm colors of love on the left contrast sharply with the colder, darker hues capturing the essence of betrayal on the right. This collision is celebrated through the checker pattern of love creating a gentle rhythm against the sharper, fragmented targets representing betrayal. A slight imbalance in the right side with broken pixels emphasizes the tension and unresolved emotions, echoing the theme of diagonal rise amidst burned edges.
