Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between trust and suspicion through a palette evoking warmth and coldness. The dark maroon evokes a sense of suspicion while the soft pink offers warmth and trust. The split vertical layout creates an immediate divided perception, while the diagonal fall suggests a dynamic motion towards fragility. The broken pixels represent deliberate imperfections that symbolize moments of unease amidst stability, with the main collision occurring at the center as colors bleed into one another, creating tension and echoing the conflict inherent in the seed.
