Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a delicate balance between the warmth of longing and the strength of resolve. The palette was chosen to create a contrast between the cool tones of longing (ice blue, violet gray) and the darker, more compressed resolve (ink black, warning orange). The primary collision occurs in the center, where the vibrant orange pulse marks of longing overlap with the crack-like structures of resolve, creating tension and depth. The broken pixels evoke a sense of imperfection and vulnerability amidst the overarching patterns, reflecting the themes drawn from the seed, such as intimacy and distance, all while maintaining a sense of abstract expression.
