Artist Statement
This composition reflects a duality of emotions, love and betrayal, through contrasting colors and patterns. The palette combines warm pinks and reds with dark maroons and grays, creating depth and tension. The left and right sides almost mirror each other, but with deliberate disruptions via 'broken pixels,' representing the imperfections inherent in emotional connections. The slight asymmetry creates a sense of unresolved longing, symbolizing the tension between connection and disconnection.
